The wild blew cold with a touch of bitterness through the snow covered Birch tree grove. The stream still as places battling to move, but was not completely frozen solid. It was pretty and had a cool spice to the surroundings. A frozen world that glittered like tiny stars.

The mare stood just at the opening to the grove, the wind rippling through her cream mane and tail. She probably blend in for not her blue horn, eyes and ebony flecks. Tundra's eyes looked around her area with complete content and even superior manor. She was queen of this terrain. She was referred to more than once as "cool and spicy and by others frozen with a striking of mint."

This was how she changed from her last bonded, there was another more cool than frozen side to her, but would she dare show it again? To do that, would let all the doubt and shadows back in. As these thoughts ran there her head, her eyes, horn and even coat seemed to dim.

As if on que, a frozen gale blasted her from behind. The shock of such cold and strength took with her dark thoughts for now. She lowered her head and sighed, she had a new home and family. She had a great bonded and facing the past would come with time. She was not running from it but she wanted to be ready to accept it all before heading to those dark times. She picked up her head and moved off into her frozen and sparkling realm.
